Nicola Blakemore, “Artist and Crafter” is offering a painting holiday at the Couvent des Ursulines.
Arrive on Saturday October 8th and enjoy a week’s holiday in historic Pezenas.
Choose between 4 and 6 days of painting over the week.
The variety of subject matter in this area makes it a great base for learning and practising your technique. Architecture, landscapes, seascapes, portraits, market scenes and other french life scenes will give you plenty of inspiration.
The course will be made up of teaching techniques, visits to view and photograph or sketch the subject matter, and return to the Couvent to paint in the shady garden or, in the unlikely case of rain, indoors. Non-painters are welcome to come and explore the area and relax.
Painting class: €70 per person per day including use of drawing boards and other materials and equipment. (except paints, brushes and paper).
Accommodation is €1100 per week per apartment.
2 singles sharing: €550 per week. Each will have his or her own bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The living area and kitchen is shared.

About Nicola Blakemore
Nicola originally trained as a graphic artist, and then followed a different career path working in the media, travel and public relations. After time spent in both London and Paris, she returned to her creative roots and became involved with interior design, specialist paint effects and creating murals for clients in both the UK and overseas.

Now installed in the Languedoc. south west of France, she continues to create murals, specialist paint effects, teach art both in classes and on painting holidays. She also paints a variety of subjects to commission, including pets and houses. She is accomplished in a variety of media and styles including portraiture.
