There are several options for getting to Pezenas from the UK.
The easiest is probably the Eurotunnel which arrives in Calais. From there it’s a 9 hour drive to Pezenas. Prices include a car and up to 9 passengers so if you’re travelling as a family or a group this can work out as a cost efficient option if you don’t mind the drive. The scenery is great!
Take the train from London to Agde. You only need one change in Paris – from Gare du Nord to Gard du Lyon. The Rail Europe site is the easiest site to manage (The SNCF site is horrible!). London to Paris Gard du Nord is approx. 2 hrs 25 mins and Paris Gard du Lyon to Agde is just under 4 hours. You can hire a car at Agde.
The other option has 2 changes but both changes are within one train station and you avoid Paris traffic! Take the train from London St. Pancras to Lille which takes approx 1 hr 30 mins, then it’s an easy change in Lille and a direct train to Montpellier which takes a further 5 hours. Either hire your car from Montpellier and drive to Pezenas or take another train to Agde which takes 30 – 40 minutes and hire a car from there.
